Hellish Few Weeks

Its been a crazy few weeks. My car took a crap..work went nuts. SO I haven't written much. I received my first rejection letter. All it said was "We choose not to purchase your story." Talk about great feedback!! And I got it the same day my car died too. Does a rejection letter make you a writer?

I read this book years ago about Chaos theory. It stated that things follow "attractors" in the natural world. I took it to mean that the old saying when it rains it pours was true. I see attractors all the time now. That's why its so hard to make money when you have none or why the lines are always full when I only have one item.

Lets hope I get out of the bad luck attractor as soon as I can. Wish me to good vibes people.

Bad case

I'm an attorney.

Well ... I think I'm more of a social worker with a law degree, but anyway I make my living as an attorney. This week a woman came into my office that I will never forget. She needed protection against her husband. She is a pretty little thing who married too early.

Why protection? She has a new scar on her face. One that goes from her upper lip to her eye because he cut her with a kitchen knife. She is still very pretty but she hides her face a lot.

I've giving her a $500.oo divorce because she has no money. I'd to it for fee but I need to keep my lights on. I do a lot of things for fee and then I get in trouble with the people who want money from me. : /

Its been a long week,

Argh, its cold. I had two hearings today and my car turned into a block of ice. Somedays its no fun driving from court to court. I still like being an attorney though.
